What we do is pretty simple – we solve problems for our clients and we work with them as their Trusted Adviser, to increase the value of their business, balancing the lifestyle of their choice.

 

Firstly, we do what you would expect from a "normal" firm of accountants. So we audit accounts (we were responible for reporting on £1/3rd Billion of turnover in 2006), we prepare accounts, we produce management accounts, we run payrolls, we prepare tax returns (rather a lot as it happens) and we prepare corporation tax computations.

 

In fact, we're very positive about our role as independent auditors - despite the changes in legislation. The Audit and Assurance page will tell you a bit more about the positive benefits the process can bring.

 

Our tax team was voted the best in the UK by the profession’s most respected technical journal and publishers. We call it the Rabjohns Centre of Tax Excellence and you can read more about the kind of work we do on the linked page.

 

We have specialists in our team to help our clients with IT issues. We run a really successful payroll bureau service which allows clients to outsource this function.

We are members of Kreston International - a worldwide network of independent accountants and advisers, which gives us local support in all of the major trading nations of the world.

 

Our Corporate Finance team are involved in a wide range of advisory work, bringing together our audit and assurance, financial, tax and banking skills and experience. Our Business Navigator specialists help our clients devise (and then implement) their business plan and strategy.

 

We act as expert witnesses and forensic accountants, and are members of the British Academy of Experts.
